Thai Insurance Research and Development Co., Ltd. (TIRD) is a non-life insurance data center as well as analytic think tank for insurance industry. TIRD is going to be newly structured organization after the merger of Thai Insurers Data Net Co., Ltd. (TID) and Insurance Premium Rating Bureau (IPRB). At TIRD, we relate our success directly to the strength of our management team where we are currently looking for a self-motivated and results-driven CEO to direct and manage our organization's business activities in developing and implementing effective business strategies and programs.
As data center and analytic company, the candidate will be the senior executive who bears responsibility for the organization’s enterprise-wide data and information strategy, information governance, data quality and data life cycle management, control, policy development, along with the exploitation of data assets to create business value. This role also takes an enterprise view of data – building bridges and knocking down walls as needed – to enable data to flow expediently across its member companies, Thai General Insurance Association (TGIA) as well as insurance regulator for better consumption and leverage.
We are searching for a new “Leader” to take up a challenging role of
Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Responsibilities:
- Setting company’s strategic goals and direction as well as managing the team with overall staff strength of around 50 people
- Develop strategic plans for optimized data and analytics agenda
- Review and improve organizational effectiveness by developing processes, overseeing employees, establishing a highly motivated work environment, and creating innovative approaches for improvement and unlock the value in enterprise data assets
- Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards
- Serve as trusted partner to key business executives focused on the customer enterprise, risk management, regulatory compliance and finance
- Seek out opportunities for expansion and growth by developing new business relationships
- Foster innovation leveraging emerging Big Data and analytics technologies
Skills and Qualifications:
- Evidence of strong leadership and communication skills at a C- or board level
- Minimum 10 of years working experience in information management projects and programs
- Familiarity with data governance and quality control
- Familiarity with data modelling and visualization techniques
- Experience with creating best practices and methodologies for technical projects
- Understanding of and experience building business cases for large technical projects
- Having experience in Non-life Insurance business and associated technical solutions would be an advantage
Preferred Qualifications:
- Male or Female
- Aged between 40 – 50 years
- Advanced degree in business, technology, statistics, mathematics, or engineering or equivalent working experience
- Ability to integrate and align strategy, people and processes and teams
- Innovative, mature, proactive, high responsibility, enthusiastic and adaptable
- Strong in managerial & leadership skills and able to work under pressure
- Good decision making and problem-solving skills
Salary: Based on candidate qualification & experience
